Tree services for a property management company in Macclesfield
At Bark & Branch, our Macclesfield tree surgeons undertake all tree work large or small, domestic or commercial. Fully insured and qualified, all quotes are free of charge. Working in Macclesfield, we got to work pollarding 28 common lime trees for a property management company.
Pollarding is best completed during the trees dormant period in late winter, and is often required when you need to restrict a tree to a certain height, as was the case for these common limes lining an avenue in Macclesfield.
Because the area is covered by a tree preservation order (TPO), we submitted the relevant application for the work to the local council and, as always, we left the area clear and tidy, removing all waste for the client.

Beech tree removal in Macclesfield
Earlier in the year we removed this large beech tree from church grounds in Hurdsfield, Macclesfield.
Safely rigging down sections of a beech tree in Hurdsfield, Macclesfield.
The church had contracted a local company to reduce this and some other trees. Unfortunately, as well as leaving a mess behind, the work done to this tree was so bad that the council advised that it would need to be removed, and that another two trees would likely have future problems.
Our professional tree surgeons spent two days carefully removing the damaged tree, being cautious of protecting the graves and nearby houses from mess or damage.
With some of the larger sections of timber weighing over 300 kg, our professional tree surgeons used rigging equipment and techniques to lower timber and branches to the ground in a safe and controlled manner.
Deadwood removal in Macclesfield
Working on one of a property management company’s larger sites in Macclesfield, we removed dead wood from a large oak tree, and from an ash tree that was suffering with ash die back.
We project managed all tree surgery work, which was primarily required for safety reasons, as there are a number of footpaths running under the trees.

Dead wood and ash die back was carefully removed, leaving the ash stem for wildlife and insect habitat. All other tree waste was safely and sustainably removed from the site.

At the request of this commercial customer, we projected their tree management costs for a further three years. Earlier this year we undertook the work for the second year of the project, with all costs as predicted. The management company has now taken up this approach for another two of their large sites.
